A local business with a personal approach.
Lippiatt Electrical and Security started in the Sutherland Shire in 2017. Today we're a team of seven, including electricians, security technicians, apprentices and office staff, working from our base in Kirrawee.
Our capabilities have grown since then. How we work hasn't. We take the time to understand each site, keep clients informed, and stand behind every job.

Meet our team.
A small local team you'll get to know by name.
Rob Lippiatt — Director and Licensed Electrical Contractor
Rob founded Lippiatt Electrical and Security in 2017 and has run it ever since. A licensed electrician, qualified supervisor and licensed security equipment specialist with 15 years in the trade, he still leads a crew on the tools. He oversees every electrical, security and access-control job we deliver, reviews every quote and variation, and is accountable for our ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certified management system. Under his leadership the business has become a top-rated contractor on a NSW Government maintenance panel.
George Zotalis — Second-in-Command and Site Manager
George manages our sites and scheduling day to day. He coordinates planned and reactive jobs, allocates the team, and makes sure every site's safety requirements are followed. A licensed security technician and EWP operator, he leads our security work, diagnosing and repairing faults across CCTV, access control, intercoms, and automated doors and gates, and checks every job is properly recorded before it's handed over.
William Hoff — Lead Electrician
William completed his apprenticeship with us and has worked across our government, strata and commercial jobs for more than five years. Now licensed, he plans each job and sources materials, leads a crew, supervises an apprentice, and carries out testing, commissioning and compliance certification
Ebony Doran — Business Operations and Systems Coordinator
Ebony looks after the systems behind the work: our ISO-certified management system, compliance documentation and tenders. She assisted in developing the integrated management system that achieved our ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certification, and brings more than eight years of administration experience in service and trade businesses. Ebony makes sure the paperwork, processes and procurement side of every job are as solid as the work itself.
Heidi Affleck - Senior Administration Officer and Office Manager
Heidi keeps the office running, from scheduling and job coordination to invoicing, reporting and client communication. She also supports our management system, keeping records, registers and compliance evidence in order. Heidi brings experience in project coordination, building-repair project management and team leadership.
Kale Hadenham — Third-Year Electrical Apprentice Kale joined us in May 2025 and is now in the third year of his electrical apprenticeship. He works alongside our licensed electricians on installations, maintenance and fault-finding across government, strata and commercial sites, building his skills on every job.
James Hoff — Third-Year Electrical Apprentice
James joined us in March 2024 and is now in the third year of his electrical apprenticeship, working alongside our licensed electricians on installations, upgrades and maintenance across our sites. Like every apprentice, he works under licensed supervision on every job.
